I have been a Travel Professional since 1970. I am the President and General Manager of Wasserman Travel which has been family owned and operated in downtown Vacaville since 1978. I moved here as an Air Force child in 1957 and was fortunate to stay here and become a hometown girl, I graduated from California State University with a BS in Communications studies and in Business. Wasserman Travel is proud to be a member of our Chamber of Commerce and I am an active member and past president of Soroptimist International of Vacaville.. I have served on many boards of directors of service organizations and love giving back to my community in my spare time. In my years as a travel agent, I have travelled all over the world an I am well versed in planning any type of vacation you can imagine. I have been a Travel Professional for 34 years. I have been with Wasserman Travel with my wife, Wendy Wasserman since 1982. I have lived in Vacaville for over 40 years. I am a member of Vacaville Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce. I love a good puzzle challenge. When a client brings me complex travel plans which involve coordinating many different elements together, I always find a way to make it all work together seamlessly. I am very well organized and detail orientated. I have experience booking all types of travel. I have personally traveled to many destinations I am sending my clients to.
I have been in the Travel Industry for over 30 years. I have lived in Vacaville since 1978 and have strong roots in my community. I have years of experience booking all types of travel plans. Cruises, all-inclusive resorts, car rentals, trips to Disney parks, you name it! My favorite place that I have traveled to would be Sandals in Jamaica or maybe the Alaskan Cruise I went on.
I've come back into the Travel Industry with a passion to help my clients with all their travel dreams. I graduated from Western College of Travel in 1996. I have over 2 years of experience in the Travel Industry including working for a major American airline company in reservations. I love planning trips and I have done so for years, for myself and others. I am very detail orientated and patient. I am well versed in current technology, and resourceful. I have an "old school" customer service ethic which emphasizes my clients needs. My specialties include: Weddingmoons, Honeymoons, including GLBT. I am a GLBT Ally. Gourmand/foodie, or specialty tours to unique locations. I think outside the box and keep my finger on the pulse of current trends in travel like social impact or eco-conscious trips. Being a mom, I think about the challenges of traveling with children when planning travel for families of all types.
